Reed Education are delighted to be recruiting for a Maths Teacher on behalf of a fantastic secondary school in Milton Keynes, starting in September 2026.

The school is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Maths Teacher who can inspire students, build confidence in numeracy, and help learners achieve their full potential across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering engaging lessons and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students can thrive.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and prepare high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and attainment.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience teaching Maths within UK secondary schools is essential.
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Passionate about raising attainment and supporting student success.
• Ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities.
• QTS is advantageous but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
