Senior Events Administrator

Are you someone who loves keeping the details on track when a big event is approaching? Ready to help make graduation a memorable day for hundreds of students? Signature Recruitment is looking for a Senior Events Administrator to join a busy Student Services Events team and help bring December graduation plans together.

This is an immediate start temporary opportunity with a well-regarded higher education institution in London, paying £20.03 per hour plus holiday pay. The role is fully campus based, with standard working hours of 9am to 5pm. Some flexibility will be required, with full campus presence and extended hours during graduation delivery.

You will join a supportive team, with additional temporary and student staff joining during the graduation period. You will play an important part in preparing communications, managing student enquiries and maintaining accurate records. It is a great opportunity to use your higher education experience in a varied role while contributing to one of the most exciting events in the student calendar.

Senior Events Administrator - Key Responsibilities:

• Manage student and internal stakeholder enquiries through Outlook, providing clear and timely responses
• Maintain accurate student data and records using Excel, Word and SITS
• Prepare and proofread graduation communications and supporting materials
• Coordinate and send graduation invitations and related information
• Support wider Student Services activity, including some student-facing counter duties
• Assist colleagues with graduation preparation and delivery as priorities develop

Senior Events Administrator - Key Skills:

• Demonstrate previous administrative experience within a higher education environment
• Use SITS, Excel and Microsoft Office confidently when managing student information
• Produce accurate written work with excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
• Organise competing priorities with a flexible, proactive and team-focused approach

Experience using Salesforce or supporting large-scale higher education events, such as graduations, enrolment or open days, would be useful but is not essential. If you have higher education and SITS experience and would enjoy being part of the team behind a major graduation event, we would love to hear from you.
