Health & Nutrition Advisor
We are looking for a Health & Nutrition Advisor to provide specialist technical leadership that strengthens the charity's ability to secure, design and deliver high-quality institutional donor-funded programmes.

Position: Health & Nutrition Advisor
Location: Milton Keynes/hybrid
Hours: Part time, 18.25 hrs per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £45,563 - £48,375 pro rata, depending in experience (actual £ 22,781 - £24,187)

About the Role
Working across programme acquisition, programme quality and donor reporting, you will ensure that evidence, learning and technical expertise are translated into competitive funding opportunities and effective programme delivery. You will combine technical health and nutrition expertise with strong donor awareness to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and communities whilst supporting institutional funding ambitions.
You will work collaboratively across the charity, consortium partners and donor-funded programme teams. You will build trusted relationships, influence without direct authority and provide technical leadership across diverse geographical and cultural contexts and balance programme quality, donor expectations and organisational priorities, using sound judgement to support decision-making and manage risk. The role requires strong collaboration, curiosity, accountability and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
This role is based at the Milton Keynes office. You will need to work from the office for a minimum of 1 day per week, with the option to work from home for the remaining days. Please only apply if you live within a realistic commuting distance of Milton Keynes.
