We are looking for a Supply Chain Co-Ordinator to join the Tsurumi Pumps UK team and support the efficient day-to-day running of our supply chain.

This is a varied role covering purchasing, stock management, supplier communication, goods-in, returns and supply chain administration. You'll work closely with suppliers, Sales, Warehouse, Finance and other departments to ensure the smooth flow of goods and information throughout the business.

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems and take ownership of issues through to resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier queries relating to purchase orders, availability, lead times, dispatch dates, defects and other supply-related matters.
  • Raise and co-ordinate purchase orders for stock and non-stock goods and services.
  • Monitor outstanding orders and liaise with suppliers regarding confirmations, deliveries and revised lead times.
  • Review sales history, stock levels, demand and reorder requirements to support purchasing decisions.
  • Co-ordinate goods-in, ensuring deliveries are accurately checked, received and allocated correctly.
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, shortages, damaged goods and incorrect deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate product, supplier and stock information within internal systems.
  • Co-ordinate customer returns and credits with Sales, Warehouse, Finance and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate Supply Chain records and ensure transactions are completed correctly.
  • Support supplier performance monitoring, stock planning, stock reviews and Supply Chain analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Supply Chain processes, systems and ways of working.
  • Work closely with Sales, Warehouse and Finance to maintain accurate stock information and resolve issues.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment and comply with Health & Safety requirements across office and warehouse environments.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your Line Manager.

What We're Looking For

A proactive and organised individual with good attention to detail and the ability to communicate confidently with suppliers and colleagues.

You'll need to be comfortable working across both office and warehouse environments, managing competing priorities and following issues through to resolution.

This is a key role within the business, offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to make a real contribution to the efficiency of our Supply Chain operations.
