Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Technician 2.Job Overview:

• Role: Technician 2
• Location: London
• Contract: 28th May'26 - 3rd July'26
• Pay Rates:
• Umbrella Rate: £19.33/hour (via a Hays approved umbrella company).
• PAYE Basic Rate: £14.90/hour
• Hours: 37.5 hours a week. Monday - Friday.
• Time: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Key ResponsibilitiesDuration: 5 weeks 1 day Paid Online Induction to take place either 28th or 29th May - Work to begin on-site 1st June.Purpose of the Role: To act as an on-site and virtual guide during the transition from Zoom to Microsoft Teams, helping colleagues understand new features, adopt best practices, and feel confident using Teams for collaboration and meetings.Key Responsibilities

• Be proactive with a visible and approachable presence to answer questions (not technical troubleshooting).
• Deliver demos via Microsoft Teams both in person and for remote colleagues using pre-defined scripts and presentation decks
• Explain differences between Zoom and Teams (meeting setup, chat, collaboration tools)
• Share tips and best practices for effective use of teams
• Encourage engagement and confidence in using teams for daily work
• Record all assistance provided to colleagues

Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams features and functionality
• Ability to communicate clearly and educate users in a friendly, non-technical way
• Familiarity with Zoom to explain migration differences
• Comfortable presenting and engaging with both in-person and remote audiences via teams
• Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills
