Salary:     Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Hours:     40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am – 4.30pm
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

We are seeking an enthusiastic Math & Science Teacher to join our dedicated team and deliver high-quality, personalised education to students working in small groups or 1:1 settings. This is a role where your impact is visible every single day.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons up to GCSE level for individuals and small groups.
• Support nurture-based programmes that build students’ confidence, wellbeing and readiness to learn.
• Monitor, record and report on student progress to ensure personalised, meaningful development.
• Create a safe, structured and stimulating classroom environment with well-organised resources.
• Develop, implement and review Individual Education Plans and Behaviour Plans with the wider team.
• Lead on subject coordination across key stages as agreed with the Headteacher.
• Work collaboratively with LSAs, tutors, care staff and multi-professional colleagues to ensure consistent support.
• Promote positive behaviour, manage challenges effectively and help students develop self-regulation skills.

What We’re Looking For

• PgCert Ed/ QTS or equivalent required 
• Experienced in teaching Maths and/or Science up to GCSE level.
• Skilled in adapting learning for individual needs and small groups.
• Confident working with students who may present challenging behaviour.
• Committed to safeguarding, inclusion and high-quality education for all.
• A reflective practitioner who stays up-to-date with educational developments.
• A team player who values communication, collaboration and consistency.
