Sysco is currently recruiting for an ERP Record to Report SME to join the Sysco GB Technology, Strategy & Transformation team on a minimum 12-month fixed-term contract, reporting to the GB Market Lead. This role will play a critical part in the successful delivery of Sysco's ERP transformation programme, ensuring the new ERP system is effectively integrated into business processes while supporting broader business transformation objectives across the GB business units.
As the subject matter expert for the Record to Report workstream, you will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams and technical specialists to ensure the ERP solution aligns with business requirements and supports best practice processes. You will help gather and document business requirements, support system design and configuration, and ensure standardisation and alignment with the wider Sysco European ERP template. Acting as a key link between the business and implementation teams, you will contribute to the successful delivery of process improvements, system enhancements and operational efficiencies through the ERP programme.
A key aspect of the role will involve supporting business change and user adoption. You will engage with stakeholders across multiple levels of the organisation, gathering feedback, managing expectations and promoting the benefits of the new ERP solution. You will also support the development of training materials, testing activities and user acceptance processes, ensuring the system is fit for purpose and delivers against business requirements. In addition, you will play an important role in data migration activities, ensuring data accuracy, integrity and completeness throughout implementation and beyond.
This is a home based/remote role, with occasional travel throughout the UK so you must be willing to travel occasionally to our Depots for meetings and workshops.
We're looking for someone with previous experience and a strong understanding of a Finance or Accounting function, combined with knowledge of ERP systems and business process transformation. You will have a good understanding of process design, data management and continuous improvement, together with the ability to analyse complex challenges and identify practical solutions. Experience supporting ERP implementations, system optimisation, testing, change management or business transformation initiatives would be highly advantageous.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, as you will be required to collaborate with colleagues across multiple functions, influence decision-making and build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation. You will be highly organised, adaptable and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities within a complex programme environment. Project management experience, a collaborative approach and a focus on delivering results will be key to success in this role.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-profile transformation programme, helping to shape future business processes, drive standardisation and support the successful implementation of a new ERP platform across the Sysco GB business.
