• Duration: Temporary (approximately 3 months)
• Salary: £14.80 per hour plus £1.79 per hour holiday pay
• Location: Hybrid, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the Bermondsey Office
• Hours: Flexible, typically 3 to 4 days per week
• Start Date: As soon as possible/early October preferred

Charity People is delighted to be partnering with a leading international health charity to recruit for a Fundraising Administrator.

This organisation works across multiple countries to improve access to healthcare, tackle health inequalities and support long-term community wellbeing. Through fundraising, partnerships and supporter engagement, they help deliver life-changing health programmes and sustainable healthcare solutions to some of the world's most underserved communities.
As they continue to grow their supporter base, they are seeking an experienced Fundraising Administrator to join their Supporter Engagement team and provide vital administrative and database support during a busy period.

About the Role

Sitting within the Supporter Engagement team, this role is essential in ensuring supporters receive an excellent experience while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of fundraising and donor records.
The successful candidate will help support a busy team by managing supporter administration, donation processing, database maintenance and donor communications. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys getting stuck into processes and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate supporter and donor records within the CRM database
• Process donations received through multiple channels
• Administer Gift Aid claims and supporter information
• Coordinate thank you communications and supporter journeys
• Prepare and send welcome packs and supporter materials
• Support finance reconciliation processes and income tracking
• Respond to donor and supporter enquiries
• Assist with fundraising administration projects and team priorities
• Ensure data quality, GDPR compliance and process accuracy at all times

We're particularly interested in hearing from candidates with:

• Fundraising administration, supporter care or donor services experience
• Strong CRM/database management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
• Experience processing income, financial records or donations
• Strong administrative and organisational abilities
• Confidence working independently and managing competing priorities
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience working within a charity or membership organisation environment

Desirable Experience

• Microsoft Dynamics experience
• Gift Aid administration
• Supporter care or individual giving experience
• Knowledge of fundraising compliance and GDPR
• Experience within an international development, health or humanitarian organisation

Hiring process
