Job Requirements/Description

Method Grid; one platform to connect knowledge, process and delivery.

Founded in 2016, we're an ambitious, growing technology business working with some of the UK's largest organisations across the built environment, infrastructure and professional services sectors.

Our platform helps organisations bring together their knowledge, processes and ways of working - making it easier for their people to deliver great work, consistently.

But technology is only part of the story. Helping people understand and adopt new ways of working is equally important. And that's where you come in.

We're looking for an experienced eLearning Content Developer to join us on an initial three-month contract, helping us turn existing knowledge and learning materials into engaging, accessible and genuinely useful digital learning content for both our customers and Method Grid.

The Role

This is a hands-on content development role. We're not looking for someone to spend three months writing a learning strategy - we need someone who enjoys getting stuck in and producing great content.

You'll work with colleagues and subject matter experts to take existing materials, understand the key learning objectives and turn them into well-structured, engaging eLearning experiences.

That might involve developing interactive learning modules, creating assessments, incorporating multimedia or simply finding a better way to communicate something that currently feels unnecessarily complicated.

Experience with Articulate 360 (particularly Storyline and Rise) would be a real advantage, although we're equally interested in hearing from people who have used other eLearning authoring tools.

The important thing is your ability to take sometimes complex information and make it clear, engaging and easy to understand.

About You

You'll have experience developing digital learning content, ideally with examples of work that you can share.

You'll be comfortable working with subject matter experts, asking the right questions and challenging content where you think there's a better way of presenting it.

You'll also have a good eye for design, an understanding of what makes digital learning effective and the ability to manage your own workload without needing someone looking over your shoulder.

We're a small, collaborative team, so you'll need to be comfortable working independently whilst keeping everyone informed of progress.

And, perhaps most importantly, you'll enjoy the process of taking something complicated and making it simple.

Why Join?

We're an early-stage SaaS business with some genuinely exciting customers and projects.

Whilst this is a short-term contract, you'll have the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to work that will be used by people across some significant organisations.

The role can be delivered remotely, with only occasional on-site collaboration required. We're much more interested in the quality of your work than where you happen to be sitting when you produce it.

If this sounds like the sort of project you'd enjoy, we'd love to hear from you.

Please send us your CV, an indication of your availability and, ideally, some examples of eLearning content you've developed.
