The Role

As a History Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and challenging History lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Inspire students to develop a deeper understanding of historical events and their impact on the modern world
• Encourage critical thinking, source analysis, debate and independent research
• Plan and deliver lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning needs
• Assess, monitor and track student progress effectively
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Contribute to departmental initiatives and the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for teachers who:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching History within UK secondary schools
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
• Are committed to raising attainment and improving student outcomes
• Have high expectations for achievement, behaviour and engagement
• Can build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents
• Have a genuine passion for History and education
