A large secondary school in Barking and Dagenham is looking to appoint a qualified Science Teacher for a September 2026 start.

The school is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable teacher to deliver high-quality Science lessons and support students in achieving strong academic outcomes. Alongside strong teaching ability, the school is looking for someone who will be a great fit for the department. The successful candidate will be lively, engaging, positive and ready to get stuck in as part of a supportive and collaborative team.

The Role

• Teach Science across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons
• Assess and monitor student progress
• Maintain a positive learning environment
• Work collaboratively within the Science department

Requirements

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools
• Strong subject knowledge
• Good classroom management skills
• A positive, energetic and engaging approach
• Willingness to contribute to the wider school community
• Commitment to raising student attainment
