Are you a qualified teacher with experience working in upper KS2 and looking for your next role?

We are currently looking for a confident and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a primary school in Maidstone from January on a full-time basis.

This role would suit a teacher who enjoys creating an engaging classroom, has high expectations of their pupils and is confident taking ownership of their class.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Leading a Year 6 class on a full-time basis

• Preparing and delivering creative and engaging lessons

• Taking responsibility for planning, assessment and marking

• Tracking pupil progress and identifying areas for development

• Supporting pupils in preparation for the transition to secondary school

• Creating a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment

• Working effectively with colleagues, parents and the wider school team

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

• QTS - essential

• Previous experience within a primary school, ideally teaching Year 6

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Excellent organisation and communication

• Confidence working independently and taking responsibility for a class

• A current DBS, or willingness to apply for a new one

• A driving licence is preferred
