A leading academic publisher is looking for an Editorial Marketing Coordinator to join their digital editorial team, a small, collaborative group creating impactful multimedia content for healthcare professionals. This is a varied and hands-on role with a strong focus on social-first, multi-channel campaigns, educational initiatives, and Congress/event coverage. If you're detail-driven, creative, and motivated by helping high-quality healthcare content reach the right audiences, we'd love to hear from you. This role offers hybrid or remote working.

About the Role

You'll be part of a team responsible for developing multimedia content, supporting educational initiatives, contributing to Congress/event coverage and helping healthcare professionals engage with trusted scientific and editorial content.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Putting social media front and centre when promoting company content across social, email, and digital channels.

  • Supporting multi-channel campaigns including webinar, podcast, and video interview promotions.

  • Managing and maintaining social media calendars across multiple platforms.

  • Creating clipping, scheduling, publishing, and optimising platform-ready assets by turning longer-form editorial content into social posts, video clips and other digital engagement formats.

  • Creating and managing monthly email communications for company websites.

  • Supporting event and Congress-related email campaigns.

  • Monitoring campaign performance across social, email, and website channels.

  • Analysing audience engagement and content performance to inform future campaigns.

  • Building an understanding of how professional communities engage across platforms, platform algorithms can influence reach and engagement and how AI tools can support responsible content generation.

  • Receive training in editorial workflows and content development, and support the wider editorial team during busy periods, major projects, and live event coverage.

  • Assisting with content publishing and campaign delivery as required.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Educated to degree level in humanities, marketing, or communications

  • A data-aware mindset and curiosity about campaign performance

  • Interest in digital content, audience engagement, online communities, and the responsible use of AI in editorial workflows

  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

  • A proactive, creative, and curious approach-passionate about helping valuable content reach the right audience.

  • While experience with social media, email marketing, or content creation is beneficial, it's not essential as full training will be provided.
