IT Project Manager

IT Project Manager, Onsite, Networking, Fixed terms 12 months rolling, Prince 2A customer of mine is seeking a solid, reliable and proven IT Project Manager with a strong background in delivering Network and Infrastructure based projects. The role:We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join a growing technology team and lead the successful delivery of network infrastructure projects across a complex enterprise environment.This is an excellent opportunity for a project management professional with a strong understanding of networking technologies to drive critical programmes, manage stakeholders at all levels, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of network and infrastructure projects.
• Create and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate internal technical teams, external vendors, and key business stakeholders.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change controls.
• Ensure projects align with business objectives and technical standards.
• Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership and project sponsors.
• Support network transformation, upgrades, migrations, and optimisation initiatives.
• Drive best practice project governance and delivery methodologies.

Skills Required:

• Proven experience delivering IT infrastructure or network-related projects.
• Strong understanding of networking technologies, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, routing, switching, and network security.
• Demonstrable experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working within structured project management frameworks.
• PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, or equivalent project management certification would be advantageous.
