Operations Co-ordinator

Harris Hill is delighted to be supporting a charity dedicated to improving the financial opportunities and life chances of young people, particularly those who have experienced care.

We are looking for an organised, proactive Operations Co-ordinator to support the Operations Manager with the day-to-day running of the organisation.

Salary: £31,000 rising to £33,000 after probation
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire - predominantly office-based

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Operations Manager.
• Process documents, database updates and payments accurately.
• Respond to telephone and email enquiries professionally.
• Support projects, investigations and process improvements.
• Help coordinate events and the charity's Annual Report.
• Support the Child Trust Fund recovery team with enquiries, reports and virtual events.
• Work collaboratively across the organisation and provide cover when required.

About you

You will have:

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and databases.
• Experience working with data and managing competing priorities.
• Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive, flexible and solutions-focused approach.
• The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• A genuine commitment to improving opportunities for young people.

Experience of working with young people in care, Local Authorities, GDPR/data protection or safeguarding would be advantageous.
