Are you a compassionate Teaching Assistant or support worker with experience in SEN and personal care?

Academics are working with a specialist SEN school in Southwark, seeking a dedicated SEN Personal Care TA to support pupils aged 9-16 with ASD and complex needs. This SEN Personal Care TA role requires confidence providing daily personal care alongside classroom support.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
ASD and complex needs
Personal care (toileting, feeding, hygiene)
SEN schools or care/support work
Communication needs (PECS, Makaton, AAC)
Sensory regulation and behaviour support

What we're looking for:
Caring, patient, and reliable SEN Personal Care TA
Confident with personal care routines
Able to commute to Southwark on a daily basis
Calm, consistent, and proactive mindset

Your role as a SEN Personal Care TA will include:
Supporting pupils aged 9-16 with ASD in Southwark
Providing dignified personal care daily
Assisting with feeding, toileting, and hygiene
Supporting learning and engagement in class
Working closely with staff and external professionals
