Salary: £30,000-£32,000
Contract: Fixed-Term Maternity Cover (until February 2028)
Location: Hybrid working with mandatory Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Milton Keynes

We are delighted to be supporting a leading medical research charity in the search for a Special Events Manager to join their growing team at an exciting period of growth. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering engaging events that strengthen supporter relationships, grow income and help fund vital research.

As a Special Events Manager, you will lead the planning and delivery of a varied portfolio of fundraising, cultivation, stewardship and engagement events that help strengthen supporter relationships, generate income and support the charity's mission to find a cure.

You'll manage events from concept through to evaluation, overseeing logistics, budgets, communications, sponsorship opportunities and stakeholder engagement. Working closely with donors, sponsors and volunteers ensuring every event delivers an exceptional supporter experience and contributes to the charity's ambitious fundraising goals.
To be successful as the Special Events Manager, you will need:

• Proven experience in event planning and delivery, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging donors, sponsors, volunteers and other stakeholders.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, with a meticulous approach to planning, budgeting and event delivery.
