Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for multiple Health, Safety & Fire Risk Advisors on behalf of our client. We are actively seeking candidates based in London, Surrey or the surrounding areas who are comfortable travelling to client sites and undertaking occasional overnight stays when required.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Health & Safety and Fire Risk professionals to join a growing consultancy, delivering expert advice, assessments, audits and training across a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial clients.

Main Purpose of the Role

To provide professional Health, Safety and Fire Risk consultancy services, carrying out assessments, audits, inspections and training whilst ensuring clients remain compliant with current legislation and industry best practice.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessments across a range of client sites.
• Complete Safe4Site Compliance Audits and provide detailed recommendations.
• Deliver professional Health & Safety training to clients.
• Produce comprehensive Health, Safety and Fire Risk reports to a high standard.
• Provide technical advice, guidance and support on legislative compliance.
• Support clients with Health & Safety policies, procedures and management systems.
• Identify risks and provide practical, compliant solutions.
• Ensure all reports are accurate, detailed and delivered within agreed timescales.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Meet operational KPIs, productivity targets and service delivery expectations.

Additional Responsibilities

• Quality check Health, Safety and Fire Risk reports before issue.
• Review report templates and systems to ensure compliance with current legislation.
• Assist with consultancy projects and wider business initiatives.
• Keep fully up to date with changes to Health & Safety and Fire Safety legislation.
• Support continuous improvement across the consultancy team.
• Undertake travel to client sites throughout London, Surrey and surrounding areas, including occasional overnight stays.
• Carry out any additional duties within the scope of the role.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• Hold a minimum Level 4 qualification in Fire Risk Management or an equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
• Possess relevant professional memberships.
• Previous experience carrying out Fire Risk Assessments and Health & Safety Audits.
• Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety and Fire Safety legislation.
• Experience producing detailed technical reports and recommendations.
• Experience within private residential buildings is highly desirable.
• Excellent report-writing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to deliver engaging training sessions to clients.
• Highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proactive and adaptable approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Committed to delivering exceptional customer service and compliance standards.
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

• 3 days per week visiting client sites
• 2 days per week working from home completing reports, quality checks and administration

Salary:

• £45,000 - £55,000 DOE
