The Role Head of Geography

• Lead and develop the Geography department across KS3-KS5
• Design and deliver a rigorous, knowledge-rich Geography curriculum
• Line-manage and support Geography teaching staff
• Monitor pupil progress and implement strategies to sustain outstanding outcomes

The Ideal Candidate Head of Geography
Essential Criteria

• PGCE Secondary Geography with QTS
• Strong subject knowledge across both Physical and Human Geography
• Proven track record of outstanding classroom practice

Leadership Profile

• Either a current Head of Geography seeking a new challenge, or
• An ambitious Geography teacher ready to step into their first Head of Department role within a high-performing school
