Your role
Leading the delivery and development of the Contact Ealing project within budget, the role oversees and line manages the Family Worker team while coordinating all project activity and shaping the annual work programme. It involves working directly with families of disabled children across Ealing-particularly those from BAME and East European communities-by providing information, facilitating support groups, and creating opportunities for connection. The role also maintains strong partnerships with key organisations including Dormers Wells Children's Centre, LBE, Ealing Advice Service, Ealing Anchor, Southall Connect, EPCF, SENDIASS and others, ensuring collaborative service delivery. Additionally, it contributes to the borough's wider strategic aims by supporting the Ealing Co Production Project led by the Head of Teams.
What we're looking for
The role leads on key communications for Contact Ealing, including producing and distributing the regular project newsletter with the wider team and preparing annual reports for funders. It also supports the ongoing development of Contact's information base and ensures high quality administration across all areas of work, from report writing and correspondence to filing, photocopying and extensive telephone support. The postholder represents Contact at meetings when required, contributes to volunteer recruitment, management and training alongside Family Workers, and plays an active part in strengthening the project's visibility, organisation and community impact.
