Teacher of GCSE English

• Location: Lewisham
• Job Type: Part-time (0.4 FTE, Tuesday and Thursday)
• Salary: £35 per hour (PAYE), £40 per hour (Umbrella)
• Start Date: ASAP

We are currently seeking a Teacher of GCSE English for an immediate start, available to work part-time on Tuesdays and Thursdays for one term. This role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator who is looking to impact students' academic success in a significant way.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Teach GCSE English to students, ensuring high-quality delivery of the curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment tools.
• Engage and motivate students to achieve their highest potential.
• Monitor and report on the progress of students.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must hold a recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE or QTLS.
• Proven experience in teaching GCSE English.
• Strong understanding of the GCSE English curriculum and assessment standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan, organise, and manage time effectively.
