Interim Autism Advisory TeacherLocation: Lambeth, Hybrid WorkingContract: 18th May to 31st JulyRate: £280 PDWe're seeking an experienced and passionate Autism Advisory Teacher to take on a key interim leadership role, supporting schools, families, and services to deliver high-quality, inclusive education for autistic pupils.The role

• Lead and manage an autism advisory service, overseeing delivery and team coordination
• Provide expert guidance to schools on effective autism strategies and inclusive practice
• Support the development of neurodiversity-affirming approaches across educational settings
• Deliver high-quality training and CPD for school staff and parents
• Contribute to statutory processes, including assessment panels and tribunals
• Work directly with schools, modelling interventions and supporting staff development
• Build strong partnerships with families, schools, and multi-agency professionals
• Oversee service evaluation, ensuring continuous improvement and impact

What you'll bring

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial experience in SEND
• Deep understanding of autism and the diagnostic process
• Proven experience supporting neurodivergent children and young people
• Expertise in autism-specific strategies (e.g. structured approaches, social communication support, reasonable adjustments)
• Experience working with senior leaders and multi-agency teams
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and support a wide range of stakeholders
• A proactive, solution-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
