What does a Cover Supervisor do?

You'll step into the classroom when teachers are absent, ensuring students stay engaged with their learning and the school day runs smoothly.

Don't worry, you won't be expected to plan lessons or teach new content. Instead, you'll: Supervise classes across a variety of subjects

Manage classroom behaviour confidently and positively

Deliver pre-prepared work set by the teacher

Help create a productive learning environment

Gain valuable experience working in schools

We're looking for people who:

Have confidence communicating with young people

Can lead a classroom and stay calm under pressure

Are reliable, adaptable, and professional

Have experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
