Kitchen Assistant

Are you experienced in catering and looking for flexible work in your local area? We are currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistants to work on a supply basis across local schools.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to different school settings.

The Role:

• Providing catering support in school kitchens as required
• Assisting with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards
• Covering staff absences on an ad hoc basis across local schools
• Being available to receive deployment calls from 6:30am onwards
• Remaining flexible with working hours and locations

Requirements:

• Previous catering experience is essential
• School catering experience is desirable but not essential
• A positive, hardworking, and flexible attitude
• Ability to travel to local schools at short notice
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
