Global HR Ops & Governance Director

Global industrial engineering co., with multiple business lines across Europe, Asia and North America. Holds a leading position and has enjoyed several years of profitable growth.

Reporting to the CHRO, this is a pivotal global leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering a world-class HR operations strategy across a complex, international organisation with multiple legal entities of approximately 6,000 employees. The successful individual will lead HR Operations, Systems & Analytics, Governance & Compliance, Global Mobility, and Reward, while providing functional leadership to regional HR teams. With accountability for service delivery, governance, risk, data, technology and transformation, you will drive standardisation, digitalisation and continuous improvement across Europe, the Americas and Asia, ensuring a consistent, efficient and commercially focused people function. The role will also partner closely with senior business leaders to deliver the global HR agenda, providing strategic oversight, operational excellence and data-driven insights that enhance organisational performance and employee experience.

The CHRO is keen to appoint an accomplished global HR leader with a proven track record of leading large-scale HR operations within complex, multinational and matrixed environments. The ideal HR Director will bring deep expertise in HR service delivery, governance, compliance, people systems and transformation, combined with the ability to lead geographically dispersed HR teams and influence senior stakeholders across multiple regions and cultures. A strategic yet hands-on leader, you will be recognised for driving operational excellence, embedding change, leveraging technology and analytics to improve decision-making. Experience gained within an industrial, engineering or manufacturing environment, alongside exposure to significant organisational transformation programmes, would be advantageous.

Based in London three days per week, offering a base of up to £139,000, 30% bonus and pack.
