Head of Pre Construction

We have an exciting opportunity to be part of a very ambitious and forward-thinking UK manufacturer, selling to the commercial fit-out industry. Our client is recruiting a Head of Pre-Construction to work within their busy and growing team. The role is a full-time position working onsite in Hoddesdon from 7.30am - 4.30pm, Monday - Friday and offers a competitive salary depending on experience, plus excellent company benefits.

You will be processing incoming project enquiries, liaising with the sales team and customers, understanding technical information, co-ordinating designs, technical submittals and providing completed quote for sales account managers to take forward

Duties include:

• Managing the internal pre-construction team and overseeing the delivery of project enquiries.
• Initial development and refining of the whole pre-construction process including overseeing product data cleansing project
• Overall co-ordination of workflow from initial enquiry to 'oven ready quote' for sales account managers to take forward. This includes: -
• Liaising with account manager/customers to get a detailed grasp of project requirements
• Putting together a brief including making assumptions where information is not available
• Co-ordinating designs/ drawing take-offs to produce a full breakdown or all products required for the project
• Entering of the above product requirements on to a sales quotation which is 100% accurate to facilitate world class enquiry response times
• Processing of sales orders when received and handing them over to operations
• Liaising with suppliers on bespoke products
• Build up and manage a team using remote offshore resources
• Support the sales team with technical queries if required
• Work with the sales and operations teams to continually improve systems and processes
