Salary: £31,227 - £34,324 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Full Time, All Year Round

Reed Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a successful secondary school in Carshalton to recruit an experienced and motivated Deputy Premises Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a facilities or site professional looking to take the next step in their career. Working alongside the Premises Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure, well-maintained and fully operational, providing an excellent environment for students, staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day management of the school's premises function.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming school environment.
• Oversee and monitor cleaning, maintenance and site presentation standards.
• Support compliance with health and safety regulations and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate and liaise with contractors and external service providers.
• Assist with site security, including opening and closing procedures where required.
• Respond to maintenance issues and ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
• Support the smooth running of school events and operational activities.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience within premises, facilities, estates or site management.
• Good working knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience supervising contractors or site staff would be advantageous.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and manage competing priorities.
