Position: SEN Outreach Tutor - 1-to-1 Tuition
Learners: Secondary - Year 7 to GCSE
Subjects: Maths & English essential Science desirable
Hours: 0-40 hours per week
Typical Referral: 10-15 hours per learner per week
Pay: £25-£35 per hour

About the Role
We are looking for experienced SEN tutors to provide tailored one-to-one tuition to secondary-aged learners in Bromley.
The students you will work with may be unable to attend mainstream education due to a range of additional needs or barriers. This could include SEND, anxiety, SEMH needs, disrupted education, school avoidance or significant gaps in their learning.
As an outreach tutor, you will provide a flexible and personalised approach to education, adapting your lessons around the individual learner. Your support will help students improve their academic skills while also rebuilding confidence, motivation and engagement with learning.
Maths and English teaching experience is essential. Tutors with the ability to deliver secondary or GCSE Science are also encouraged to apply.
Most placements offer approximately 10-15 hours of tuition per week per student, generally within school hours. Depending on the referral, tuition may take place at the learner's home, in a community venue or another suitable location.
