Early Years Keyworker - Level 3 (Term-time Only)

The role

We are looking for a passionate, reliable and dedicated Early Years Keyworker to support children's learning, development and wellbeing. You will respond to each child's individual needs, plan engaging activities and build positive relationships with children and their families.

This is a permanent, term-time-only position:
• Monday to Friday
• 8:30am to 3:30pm
• 35 hours per week
• Based in Bushey, Hertfordshire, WD23 2AW

Key responsibilities

• Build warm, positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Support children's learning and development through planned and spontaneous activities.
• Create and maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Observe children and maintain accurate progress and development records.
• Work in partnership with parents and carers.
• Attend team meetings and relevant training.
• Follow the pre-school's safeguarding, health and safety, and other policies and procedures.

Essential requirements

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification, or above, approved to count in EYFS staff-to-child ratios.
• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Previous experience working with children in an early years setting.
• A positive, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to commute reliably to Bushey, WD23 2AW.

Experience in a Keyworker role is desirable.
