A warm family, based in Chelsea is seeking a recent graduate to join their household as a Tutor, supporting their children's academic development. This is an excellent opportunity for a bright, personable graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in private education before progressing further in academia, teaching, or a related field.
The Role
- Provide tutoring support across core subjects for school-age children, tailored to their current curriculum and individual learning needs
- Assist with homework supervision, exam preparation, and reinforcement of concepts taught in school
- Liaise with parents and, where relevant, the children's schools to track progress and address any gaps in learning
- Plan engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that build confidence as well as academic ability
- Support wider educational enrichment - reading, projects, and extracurricular learning - as directed by the family
- Maintain a structured yet flexible routine around school hours, holidays, and family commitments
The Ideal Candidate
- A recent graduate (undergraduate or postgraduate) with a strong academic record
- Previous tutoring, mentoring, or childcare experience is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills and a natural rapport with children
- Patient, encouraging, and adaptable teaching style
- Highly organised, reliable, and professional in a private household setting
Schedule: Afternoons, Monday to Friday
