We're partnering with a global insurance broker to find an IT Vendor & Service Performance Manager who will sit at the heart of technology operations, owning service performance across internal teams, strategic suppliers and business-critical platforms.

This isn't a traditional infrastructure management role.

It's an opportunity to become the single point of accountability for technology service outcomes, influencing senior stakeholders, driving supplier performance and ensuring technology delivers measurable value to the business.

You'll operate as the service integration layer between internal technology functions and key managed service providers, ensuring services are reliable, resilient, cost-effective and continually improving.

From major incident reviews and supplier governance to service optimisation and cost transparency, you'll have the authority and visibility to make a genuine impact across the organisation.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Owning end-to-end IT service performance across availability, resilience, user experience and cost.

Leading service integration across internal technology teams and external partners.

Driving continual service improvement initiatives and service optimisation programmes.

Holding suppliers accountable through robust governance, service reviews and performance management.

Managing major incident follow-up, root cause analysis and long-term remediation plans.

Delivering executive-level reporting, dashboards and service health insights.

Driving cost transparency, forecasting and demand management across technology services.

Supporting risk, compliance and assurance activities within a regulated environment.

What We're Looking For
  • Strong experience in IT Service Management, SIAM or Service Integration environments.
  • Proven success managing third-party suppliers and outsourced service providers.
  • Excellent understanding of ITIL principles and service governance frameworks.
  • Experience driving service improvement, operational excellence and vendor accountability.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage senior leadership teams.
  • Experience working within complex, multi-vendor technology environments.
  • Knowledge of major incident governance, problem management and service reporting.
