About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Self-Employed Mobile Glazier to carry out reactive and planned glazing works across social housing and domestic properties throughout the Portsmouth and South area.

This is a long-term ongoing contract with a minimum of 12 weeks' work , with the opportunity for continued work for the right contractor.

Duties

Glazing repairs and replacements.
Replacement of sealed double-glazed units and single glazing.
Repairs and installation of uPVC windows and doors.
Emergency boarding-up and make-safe works where required.
Reactive maintenance and planned works.
Working in occupied social housing and private domestic properties.
Completing job reports and maintaining a professional standard of work.
Providing excellent customer service while working in customers' homes.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Glazier.
Experience within social housing, domestic repairs, or reactive maintenance preferred.
Competent in uPVC window and door repairs and glass replacement.
Own hand tools.
Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload.
