Tradewind Recruitment are working with a forward-thinking Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Redbridge to recruit a dedicated Business Studies Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026.

This rewarding role involves teaching GCSE Business Studies to small classes of students who require additional support due to social, emotional, and behavioural needs. The successful candidate must also be able to teach one additional subject, although this is flexible and will be based on your experience and specialism.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and inspiring GCSE Business Studies lessons.
• Teach one additional subject at an appropriate level.
• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils.
• Support students to achieve recognised qualifications while building confidence and preparing them for future education or employment.
• Work collaboratively with pastoral staff and the wider school team to ensure positive outcomes for every learner.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching GCSE Business Studies.
• Ability to teach one additional curriculum subject.
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
• Experience working within a PRU, alternative provision, or with students with SEMH needs is desirable but not essential.
