Programme Finance & Compliance Advisor
Are you a qualified or part-qualification Accountant or do you have the equivalent practical experience?
We are looking for a Programme Finance & Compliance Advisor to provide specialist financial, compliance and risk management expertise that enables the charity to secure, deliver and successfully close institutional grants and commercial contracts.

Position: Programme Finance & Compliance Advisor
Location: Milton Keynes/hybrid
Hours: Full time, 36.5 hrs per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £42,750 - £45,563 depending on experience

About the Role
This role protects organisational resources, strengthens donor confidence and supports the sustainable delivery of programmes by ensuring funding opportunities are financially robust, risks are effectively managed and contractual obligations are met throughout the funding lifecycle.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the charity, consortium partners and donor organisations. The role requires strong professional judgement, attention to detail and the ability to influence and advise colleagues on complex financial and compliance matters.
You will balance regulatory requirements, donor expectations and organisational priorities while maintaining a solutions-focused approach. You will be expected to build strong working relationships, manage competing priorities and contribute to a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and responsible stewardship of resources.
What Success Looks Like
This role is based at the Milton Keynes office. You will need to work from the office for a minimum of 3 days per week, with the option to work from home for the remaining 1 or 2 days. Please only apply if you live within a realistic commuting distance of Milton Keynes.
