At the British Heart Foundation, our events do more than fund lifesaving research-they inspire hope, bring communities together, and drive positive change.
We're looking for a Events Executive to help us take our events to the next level.
About the role:
As a Events Executive, you'll support on the ongoing development of event products, with a focus on continuous improvement. You'll help bring compelling, supporter-focused products and propositions to life for the BHF.
This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity created to provide additional capacity within our Events team during preparations for the London Marathon 2027. In 2027, the event is expected to operate as a one-off expanded two-day event, creating a temporary increase in workload across the team.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of events already within the British Heart Foundation portfolio. This additional resource will enable other members of the team to focus on work associated with the London Marathon 2027 project.

Our people are at the heart of everything we do. By funding research across six decades, we've helped keep millions of hearts beating and millions of families together. We're investing in ground-breaking research that will get us closer than ever to a world where everyone has a healthier heart for longer.
Working arrangements
This role is being recruited on a 12 month fixed-term basis because it has been created to support a temporary, time-limited increase in workload associated with preparations for the London Marathon 2027. The role is an additional position within the team and is not intended to form part of the team's ongoing establishment beyond the period of increased demand. The contract is therefore expected to end once the temporary resourcing requirement created by the London Marathon 2027 project has concluded.
This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London Office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
