WORKING TUESDAY TO SATURDAY - MIMIMUM OF 45 HOURS A WEEK AND INCLUDES HEAVY LIFTING
Role overview
As a key member of our Transport team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery to our customers. You will follow company policy and procedures to ensure our customers receive a first-class service, and complete paperwork relating to stock, delivery, payment and collection/returns before/arriving at the depot.
1st stage interviews by phone and 2nd stage interviews onsite w/c 4th May 2026
Key Responsibilities
Complete a thorough inspection of allocated vehicles reporting any faults, defects, or concerns to the Transport Department
Drivers card to be downloaded at the end of each shift.
Ensure all paperwork and stock for allocated route is correctly on the vehicle.
Ensure the load is secure at all times, using the equipment provided
Leave with the correct manifest and route guidance.
Provide a seamless customer service, arriving on time and unload orders in a courteous and professional manner.
Maintain allocated vehicle and driving records.
Resolve customer complaints or escalate to the correct person where necessary.
Process payments from customers following the agreed procedures for each customer.
Ensure any monies, invoices and keys are handed to the nominated person when arriving back at the Depot.
On return to depot empty vehicle of all collections/returns checking against manifest and hand over to the Transport Department
Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel purchase and other costs incurred while on shift.
All empty kegs and canisters to be stacked away neatly before leaving at the end of the day.
Compliance with Company Health and Safety Policies and procedures
Any other duties which may be required
Person Specification
Clean driving license - Cat C licence (18t)
Valid and up to date Transport/Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC)
Valid and up to date TACHO card
Good knowledge of Kent and London geographical area
Ability to communicate effectively with our customers and colleagues meeting stakeholder expectations
Proven organisational skills including planning and problem solving
