Minibus driver

We are looking for a part-time Minibus Driver to work at a school in the Ashford area.

You will be responsible for the safe daily transportation of school pupils between their homes and the school, covering for other drivers routes as required and seasonal events and fixtures.

The hours of work are from 06.15-8.15 am and then 16:00-18:00 Monday to Friday. This role would suit someone who lives local to the school.

Skills & Experience

• Driving experience ideally within an education setting.
• Full Clean UK Driving Licence including category D1 driving a minibus & passengers.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• You must take your annual leave during school closure periods.
• For practical reasons, drivers need to be within easy reach of our location.

You will have effective communication skills and an even temperament with the ability to speak clearly and diplomatically with all school stakeholders, pupils, and parents.

You will use your own initiative and have sound judgement together with the ability to respond to emergency situations promptly.
