Vehicle Dismantler

Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Dismantler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely disassembling various vehicle parts off cars and commercial vehicles, ensuring all parts are removed efficiently and accurately. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in mechanical processes and hands-on work, providing valuable experience within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Carefully dismantle machinery and equipment using appropriate hand and power tools
Follow safety procedures and protocols during all disassembly activities
Identify and document different components for inventory or recycling purposes
Ensure all parts are removed without damage, maintaining quality standards
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
Assist with the disposal or storage of dismantled parts as required

Qualifications

Basic mechanical knowledge or experience with machinery disassembly is desirable
Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers
Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, or saws is advantageous
Ability to work methodically and follow detailed instructions
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and stand for extended periods
Prior experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
