Job Requirements/Description
Supply Chain Coordinator Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Shipping and Supply Chain Coordinator to join a thriving manufacturing company based in Basingstoke due to business expansion. The successful candidate will be working alongside the purchasing and supply chain team. Responsibilities as a Supply Chain Coordinator:
    • Support the planning and coordination of shipments of machinery and spare parts
    • Track shipments and help resolve issues
    • Support export processes
    • Assist with preparing and managing shipping documentation
    • Working with production and stores team to ensure goods are prepared, packed and ready for dispatch
    • Help maintain appropriate stock levels
    • Liaise with sales to help manage delivery expectations
Requirements:
    • Proven supply chain or shipping experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
    • Understanding of shipping processes, with an interest in developing knowledge further
    • Strong organisational skills
    • Confident MS Office user
    • Experience with ERP/MRP software such as Sage or SAP is desirable
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
The Shipping and Supply Chain Coordinator Role:
    • Starting salary of £29,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
    • Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week, flexibility for the right candidate
    • 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays
