We are looking to enhance our multidisciplinary team by recruiting a part-time Senior CBT Practitioner & Wellbeing Worker. The position will suit a recently qualified or experienced CBT practitioner interested in combining direct clinical work, supervision and service development.

This role willhelp provide therapeutic services at Step Forward and with voluntary and statutory partners across Tower Hamlets and requires the post holder to provide senior support on CBT and wellbeing support to young people aged 11-25 years.

Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical supervision to our trainee/s and CBT staff

Provide senior level CBT support/guidance to the wider team

Provide CBT support to young people with the presenting issues of; anxiety, depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and other anxiety disorders.

Collaborate with the Therapeutic Service Lead to further develop CBT provision, clinical practice and service quality within the organisation

About You

Commitment and passion to support the mental health and wellbeing of young people

Interested in using your skills and experience to develop a service

Recognised professional qualification in CBT

Recognised qualification in CBT supervision

Have/be working towards BABCP accreditation

A minimum of 3 years' experience of working with young people in a MH setting.

A minimum of 2 years' CBT post qualification experience of providing 1:1 CBT and/or support services within schools, health and/or youth and community settings.

Minimum of 1 year providing senior/clinical supervision to CBT practitioners

Experience of working within school, health or youth settings

Experience of dealing with safeguarding concerns and following safeguarding procedures.

Confident and competent in providing health and wellbeing support to young people in group sessions/workshops and assemblies

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multi-agency teams

Commitment to embracing diversity and supporting young people in Tower Hamlets
