The Role

As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Create a positive classroom environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve
• Adapt teaching to meet different abilities and learning needs
• Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
• Establish strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Promote positive behaviour and a love of learning
• Contribute to wider school activities and initiatives
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and best practice

• QTS and experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum
• Confident classroom management skills
• A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching
• High expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A collaborative approach to working with colleagues
• Someone keen to develop professionally and take on additional responsibilities
