Opportunities are available across KS1 and KS2, depending on experience and school requirements.

The Role
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and purposeful lessons across the Primary National Curriculum.
- Establish a positive classroom environment where pupils feel confident, valued, and motivated to learn.
- Adapt lessons and teaching approaches to meet the needs of individual learners.
- Support pupils' academic progress alongside their social and emotional development.
- Use assessment and pupil data to identify next steps and support continued progress.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence, resilience, and confidence.
- Provide appropriate support and challenge for pupils across a range of abilities, including those with SEND.
- Build strong and positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Contribute to school events, enrichment activities, trips, and the wider school community.
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive staff team.
About You
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Have experience teaching within a UK primary school environment, either through employment or successful teaching placements.
- Have a strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
- Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching.
- Have strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Be able to establish positive relationships with pupils and create a supportive learning environment.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Be committed to inclusion and supporting every child to reach their potential.
- Have a reflective approach to teaching and a willingness to engage in professional development.
- Share a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
ECTs are encouraged to apply and will be considered for roles where appropriate support and mentoring can be provided.
