Join us as we launch a brand-new residential rehabilitation and Discharge to Assess service supporting people with complex mental health needs to achieve greater independence and successful move-on outcomes.
At Turning Point, we believe recovery is possible for everyone. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Recovery Worker - Healthy Living Coordinator to help shape and develop The Stewarts, an innovative residential service providing both Intensive Enablement and Discharge to Assess (D2A) pathways.
As the Healthy Living Coordinator, you will take the lead in promoting physical health, emotional wellbeing and healthy lifestyles across the service. Working alongside Recovery Workers, healthcare professionals and community partners, you will develop opportunities that empower people to improve their health, build confidence, increase independence and achieve their recovery goals.
Passionate about helping people live healthier and more fulfilling lives, you will champion a whole-person approach to recovery, supporting people to address health inequalities, improve wellbeing and develop sustainable lifestyle changes that support long-term independence.
Please note, this is a Recovery Worker role with a percentage of time spent doing Healthy Living Coordinator responsibilities.
About the Role
As the Healthy Living Coordinator, you will act as the service lead for health and wellbeing initiatives, ensuring physical health and healthy lifestyle interventions are embedded within everyday recovery support.
You will work collaboratively with people we support, colleagues and external professionals to create a culture where health, wellbeing and recovery are everyone's business.
