Finance Manager
Location: NW11 8RQ
Hybrid Working: 3 Days in Office, 2 Days from Home
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to oversee the finance function across a growing property investment portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who is looking to take ownership of a varied role while working closely with directors to support business growth and investment decisions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of multiple property entities, producing accurate financial reporting, maintaining cash flow forecasts, and providing strategic financial insight to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Maintain accurate day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple property entities.
- Manage accounting records using Xero or similar cloud-based accounting software.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Produce monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Prepare regular financial reports for directors.
- Liaise with external accountants and professional advisers.
- Ensure all financial records are accurate, compliant, and up to date.
Cash Flow & Financial Planning
- Prepare and maintain detailed cash flow forecasts across the portfolio.
- Monitor liquidity, funding requirements, and business performance.
- Advise directors on available funds for acquisitions and capital expenditure.
- Support debt management and financing requirements.
- Provide recommendations regarding shareholder distributions and investment planning.
Commercial & Strategic Support
- Analyse financial performance across the property portfolio.
- Identify financial risks, opportunities, and emerging trends.
- Support acquisition appraisals and investment decision-making.
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning activities.
- Help improve financial systems, controls, and reporting processes as the business continues to grow.
Skills & Experience Required
- ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualified or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping experience.
- Experience producing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Excellent cash flow forecasting and financial planning experience.
- Strong knowledge of Xero or similar cloud-based accounting software.
- Experience preparing and submitting VAT returns.
- Experience managing finance functions across multiple entities.
- Ability to interpret financial information and provide commercial recommendations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Must be within a commutable distance of NW11.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within property, real estate, or investment portfolio businesses.
- Knowledge of property-related VAT and UK property finance.
- Experience advising directors and senior stakeholders on investment and cash flow decisions.
- Understanding of debt management and financing structures.
