Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons to students from KS3 to KS5, including multiple A-level groups.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching methods that contribute to a high-quality curriculum and enhance student learning experiences.
• Collaborate with an experienced and successful English department to share best practices and continuously improve teaching strategies.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all students.
• Assess, monitor, and report on the progress and attainment of students.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English or related subjects.
• Proven experience in teaching English at secondary school level, including A-level.
• Strong understanding of the latest educational techniques and curriculum development in English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve excellent results.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
