Senior Women's Development and Outreach Worker

The Traveller Movement is looking for an experienced Senior Women's Development and Advocacy Officer to lead and develop our growing women and girls programme.

This role requires the experience, confidence and professional judgement to lead a varied and sensitive programme of work from the outset. It involves championing women's rights, coordinating empowerment programmes, building trusted partnerships and amplifying the voices of Romani (Gypsy), Roma and Irish Traveller women and girls.

You'll support women, develop trauma-informed programmes, build strong partnerships and contribute to advocacy, policy and campaigns. You'll also support a small team and help shape the future of the programme.

About you
We're looking for someone with:

• Experience in the VAWG sector.
• Experience in advocacy, programme development and partnership working.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed practice.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A commitment to equality, inclusion and community empowerment.
