REED are seeking a Lecturer in Plumbing for a full-time teaching position in a Further Education college.
This role involves teaching Level 1 and Level 2 Plumbing learners. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge and practical experience in plumbing, coupled with experience teaching in a similar educational setting.
Lecturer in Plumbing
- Contract: Temporary
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Start Date: Within the next 2 weeks
- Pay: Up to £40 per hour
- Location: Post 16 environment
Day-to-day of the role of a Plumbing teacher:
- Deliver engaging and effective training sessions to Level 1 and Level 2 Plumbing learners.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials based on the curriculum requirements.
- Assess and evaluate learners' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance teaching methodologies and learner experience.
- Stay updated with the latest industry practices and integrate them into the curriculum.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Plumbing Lecturer role:
- Experience teaching Plumbing in Further Education or a similar setting.
- Ability to teach Level 2 Plumbing learners effectively.
- Relevant Plumbing qualifications.
- Teaching qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong industry knowledge and practical plumbing experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
