Contract: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full-time, with flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings to support matchday and event commitments.

About the Role

The Fundraising Events Executive will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of the Harlequins Foundation's events programme. Working closely with the Head of Programmes, Partnerships and Events and the Partnerships Manager, you will help deliver engaging, high-quality events that raise awareness, strengthen stakeholder relationships and generate fundraising opportunities.

Acting as a first point of contact for supporters and fundraisers, you will provide excellent stewardship and administrative support while helping to ensure events are delivered professionally, safely and efficiently. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines event planning, supporter engagement, logistics coordination and on-the-day delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of a range of fundraising and engagement events.
• Coordinate event logistics including venues, suppliers, equipment and communications.
• Support the smooth and professional delivery of events and fundraising activities.
• Act as a key point of contact for participants, supporters and fundraisers.
• Deliver outstanding supporter care and stewardship from registration through to post-event follow-up.
• Coordinate Foundation activity at key fixtures and fundraising events, including auctions and supporter engagement activities.
• Maintain accurate supporter and event records within CRM systems.
• Work with colleagues to promote events and maximise participation.
• Research and identify new fundraising event opportunities.
• Gather feedback and event insights to continually improve supporter experience and event delivery.
• Support volunteers, ambassadors and stakeholders involved in Foundation events.

Key Requirements

• Experience supporting or delivering events, ideally within the charity, sports or community sectors.
• Strong customer, supporter or stakeholder engagement experience.
• Experience coordinating volunteers and working with a range of stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using CRM systems, such as Salesforce, would be advantageous.
• A proactive, flexible and positive approach with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of event delivery.
• A collaborative team player who enjoys building relationships and creating positive experiences for others.
