Overview:
We are currently supporting a key client in London who are looking to appoint an experienced UAT Test Lead to join a large-scale programme environment on an initial 6-month contract basis, with strong potential for extension thereafter.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating User Acceptance Testing activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring testing is delivered effectively, professionally, and in alignment with wider business objectives.
This role requires a confident and articulate testing professional who is capable of clearly communicating their previous UAT testing experience, methodologies, and overall approach to stakeholder groups at varying levels across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities across multiple projects and business functions
• Define and implement UAT strategies, test plans, test scripts, and testing governance processes
• Coordinate business users, stakeholders, and technical teams throughout the testing lifecycle
• Manage defect tracking, reporting, prioritisation, and resolution processes
• Ensure clear communication and reporting of testing progress, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders
• Work closely with delivery, business analysis, development, and project teams to ensure successful releases
• Support continuous improvement across testing standards, documentation, and delivery processes
• Administer and manage Azure DevOps environments in relation to testing workflows and delivery management
Key Requirements:
• Previous Azure DevOps administration experience is essential
• Proven experience operating as a UAT Test Lead within complex programme or transformation environments
• Strong ability to articulate previous testing experience, testing methodologies, and practical delivery approaches
• Hands-on experience managing full UAT lifecycle activities
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Confident, proactive, and delivery-focused testing professional
• Ability to work effectively within fast-paced project environments
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Experience coordinating multiple testing activities and stakeholders simultaneously
