Role/Job Title: Accommodation and Community Services Lead - Care Services (Kent)
Location: Cornford Lane, Pembury, TN2 4QU hybrid working with regular travel across our services. A visible leadership presence within services is an important part of this role
Mileage expenses will be paid for travel to locations away from your main workplace, in accordance with the organisation's mileage policy.

Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We're looking for an experienced social care leader to join Aspens as our Accommodation & Community Services Lead - Kent, providing operational leadership across a portfolio of residential, supported living and outreach services.

Reporting to the Head of Kent, you'll provide leadership and support to our Service Managers, driving service quality, safeguarding, performance, compliance and continuous improvement across the area.

There is also the opportunity within the role to support the strategic development of service provision across Kent

This is a senior operational role for someone who is ready to take the next step from a Registered Manager, Home Manager, Deputy Manager, Operations Manager or similar multi-service leadership position.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Kent, you'll provide leadership and oversight across a portfolio of community services, ensuring they are safe, high quality, financially sustainable and fully compliant with regulatory requirements.

Working closely with Service Managers, you'll drive continuous improvement, champion Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), lead on safeguarding and quality assurance, and help shape the future development of services across the region.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead and support Service Managers across residential, supported living and outreach services.
• Drive operational excellence, ensuring services consistently deliver outstanding outcomes.
• Promote person-centred, strengths-based and neuro-affirming practice.
• Lead on safeguarding, risk management and quality assurance.
• Support services through CQC inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor performance, budgets and service quality across multiple locations.
• Build positive relationships with commissioners, regulators and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to service development, sustainability and future growth opportunities.
• Foster a positive, inclusive culture where colleagues feel empowered to succeed.

About You:

You'll be an experienced leader within adult social care who enjoys supporting others to thrive and is passionate about delivering exceptional services.

You'll bring:

• A Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent experience).
• Significant experience managing regulated community services.
• Experience leading managers across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding and relevant legislation.
• Experience managing budgets and service performance.
• Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
• A passion for person-centred, rights-based support and continuous improvement.
• An understanding of autism, learning disabilities, mental health and Positive Behaviour Support.
